Find Your Polling Station with EC’s Online Voter Locator

January 5, 2026

The Electoral Commission of Uganda offers a free and easy-to-use Online Voter Locator service to help citizens find their polling stations and verify voter registration.

If you’re registered to vote, you can simply visit the Electoral Commission’s official website and enter your details—such as your national ID number or full name—to instantly see your assigned polling station. This tool ensures you know exactly where to go on election day.

The Online Voter Locator pulls data directly from the official Voters’ Roll compiled for every parish and polling station across the country. Only names on this roll qualify to vote, so checking your status in advance is essential.

Using the service is fast, secure, and available 24/7. Just go to https://www.ec.or.ug/register, select the “Voter Locator” option, and follow the prompts.

This tool is especially helpful if you’ve moved residences, registered recently, or simply want to confirm your details ahead of the January 15, 2026, general elections.

The Electoral Commission encourages all eligible Ugandans to use the Online Voter Locator early. Doing so helps prevent delays and ensures a smooth voting experience.

Remember: you must be at least 18 years old and appear on the Voters’ Roll to cast a ballot. The Online Voter Locator gives you the clarity and confidence you need to participate fully in Uganda’s democracy.

For assistance, visit any district EC office or contact the Commission’s support team through their official channels. Your vote counts—make sure you’re ready to use it.
