Following that, UMU will face Nkozi University in another exciting encounter, expected to showcase high-caliber football from both sides.
At 5:00 PM, Kyambogo University, the 2018 champions, will go head-to-head with ISBAT University in a crucial Group C match. With the stakes high, both teams are eager to start the tournament on a winning note, making this match one not to be missed.
The 2025 edition introduces a new format where teams will meet only once in the group stages, either at home or away. This change promises to add an extra layer of excitement to the competition. The top teams from each group will automatically advance to the quarterfinals, with the three best runners-up also securing a spot.
